EmoPower
Międzynarodowe

The EmoPower project, held from 18 to 30 June 2025, addressed key areas of youth development by focusing on emotional intelligence, stress management, and intercultural understanding. Through a wide range of interactive workshops, group discussions, mindfulness sessions, and creative activities, participants explored how to recognize emotions, navigate conflict, and build healthy communication patterns. The program emphasized the importance of inner balance and mental well-being, offering tools such as relaxation techniques, cognitive-behavioral models, and body-based practices. Outdoor experiences—like hiking, water activities, and participation in the multicultural Tea Festival—highlighted how emotional learning can take place beyond the classroom, through reflection, presence, and connection with nature. The project fostered intercultural dialogue and cooperation through cultural evenings, shared meals, and collaborative tasks. In its final phase, participants applied their knowledge by designing original workshops to support emotional awareness among youth. EmoPower created a safe and inclusive space for growth, empowering young people to care for themselves and others with empathy and confidence.
Our project welcomed 24 participants from seven European countries—Greece, Lithuania, Slovakia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Austria. This diverse group created a supportive and intercultural learning space where emotional awareness, empathy, and personal reflection could flourish. Participants brought unique perspectives from fields such as youth work, education, creative arts, psychology, and social activism. Their varied life experiences enriched the group dynamic and helped cultivate a deeper understanding of emotions across cultures. Through shared activities and open dialogue, they formed meaningful connections and built a community rooted in respect, authenticity, and emotional growth.

The EmoPower international training course brought together youth workers, educators, and project coordinators from European countries to address the growing need for emotional education and mental wellbeing support in the youth sector. In response to increasing levels of stress, emotional overload, and communication breakdown among young people, the training focused on equipping professionals with tools to foster emotional intelligence, build personal resilience, and strengthen supportive relationships with youth. Organized in Międzybrodzie Bialskie, Poland, and implemented in line with Erasmus+ Quality Standards, the course provided a high-quality learning space rooted in non-formal education. Through practical workshops, mindfulness exercises, coaching methods, role-playing activities, and international teamwork, participants developed essential emotional and social competencies, improved their ability to manage conflict, and exchanged best practices in youth education. A strong emphasis was placed on psychological well-being—not only of the young people supported by participants, but also of the educators themselves. The experience also fostered intercultural understanding, peer learning, and long-term cooperation between partner organizations. As a result, EmoPower contributed to a growing network of trained professionals, the development of educational materials, and the promotion of emotional literacy as a cornerstone of youth work across Europe.
