🌿 Who we are
The Association of Estonian Open Youth Centres (AEYC) unites over 250 youth centers across Estonia. Since 2015, we coordinate international volunteering projects to promote inclusion, respect, and cultural exchange. Through “ESCall for Open Youth Work”, we empower young people and volunteers to gain new skills, support local communities, and strengthen European solidarity.

Estonia is a small but innovative Nordic-Baltic country known for its digital society, clean environment, and community spirit. With 2,200+ islands, forests, and lakes, it blends medieval heritage with modern e-governance and sustainability. Volunteers enjoy cozy small-town life with easy access to Tallinn.

Motivated young people (18–30) ready to support youth work, culture, and community development. You’ll join one of our partner youth centers:
- Jõgeva Open Youth Center — creativity & participation across nine centers.
- Kohila Open Youth Center — arts, sports, and social inclusion.
- Tõrva Open Youth Center — cultural and sports events.
- Jõhvi Open Youth Center — workshops, events, and youth initiatives.
Volunteers will:
- Support daily youth activities (ages 7–26)
- Lead workshops (art, music, sports, media, languages, etc.)
- Help organize festivals and projects
- Collaborate with schools and NGOs
- Share their culture and ideas
No prior experience required — motivation and openness matter most. English is essential; Estonian courses provided.
🌍 What we offer
- Accommodation: shared flat or youth center housing
- Pocket & food money: 11 €/day (5 € + 6 €)
- Travel: reimbursement to/from Estonia
- Insurance: full ESC Henner coverage
- Language support: OLS Estonian + Speakly app
- Local transport: covered for work travel
- Training: on-arrival & mid-term + mentoring
- Community: two meet-ups per year
