ESC Volunteering in Estonia – Long-Term Placements Up to 12 Months (2026–2027)

Gain international experience, discover a new culture, and support local youth communities in Estonia. AEYC is inviting young people to apply for long-term ESC volunteering opportunities across the country.

⏳ Up to 12 months 📍 Estonia (various locations) 🗓️ Most starts in September 🏠 ~20 host organizations planned

About the project

The Association of Estonian Open Youth Centers (AEYC) is an umbrella organization representing around 300 open youth centers across Estonia. Through the ESC programme, volunteers are hosted in youth centers and youth organizations nationwide. The goal is to bring fresh ideas, international perspectives, and new energy to local communities—both in bigger cities and smaller towns.

What can you gain?

  • Build social, communication, and organizational skills through real-life activities and teamwork.
  • Gain hands-on experience in youth work (workshops, events, local initiatives).
  • Meet people from different countries and experience everyday life in Estonia.
  • Grow your independence, confidence, and motivation for future plans.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that support young people and local communities.

Where and when?

For 2026–2027, around 20 placements are currently planned (the number may still change). Start dates vary: some host organizations are ready to welcome volunteers already now, while most placements are expected to begin in September.

Selection process

The selection is based on an application form where candidates provide basic personal information required for documentation and briefly describe their interests, hobbies, relevant experience, and motivation for a long-term placement.
