Bridge to New Beginnings 4 Ukrainian refugees Międzynarodowe

The "Bridges of Hope" project aims to support the integration process of youth from Ukraine who fled the war to Poland and Romania. The main activities include the development of a guidebook, a set of operational materials, and educational-integration workshop scenarios designed to assist young volunteers working with refugees. This initiative is intended to ease the adaptation of young migrants to their new environment, promote European values, and strengthen their social, linguistic, and professional skills.

The project is primarily directed at young volunteers working in migrant support centers and Ukrainian youth who have faced challenges related to migration. The indirect target audience includes social, educational, and aid organizations that, with the help of the developed materials, will be able to more effectively support young refugees in their integration process.

Results

The "Bridges of Hope" project will produce key tools to support the integration of Ukrainian youth. A volunteer guidebook will be developed, providing guidelines on establishing contact and identifying the needs of migrants. There will also be a set of educational-integration workshop scenarios tailored to the challenges faced by young refugees, as well as a set of operational materials supporting peer education. These tools will be available to organizations in Poland, Romania, and other European countries, enabling broad application in integration processes.

Area of intervention

The initiative focuses on comprehensive support for young Ukrainian refugees in their adaptation and social integration process. The project emphasizes peer education that promotes European values such as dignity, equality, democracy, and active citizenship. By providing practical tools and materials, the initiative supports cultural, linguistic, and social integration, helping youth find their place in the new environment and build lasting relationships within local communities.
